Hey there do u both feel the same way ask her how she feels and if u both feel the same then its ok depending on how blood related you are to each other because cousins can have relationships even marry but again depending on how much blood related you are to each other check if your 1st, 2nd or 3rd cousins and so on and ask also you local register office im not saying your planning to get marrayd or anything but they can also help u decide if its legal or not for you both to have a normal healthy relationship before you get too involved but i hope all works out for you and good luck.

It is rubbish to say it's taboo or wrong, it is wrong in America, but not in many other places. Please follow the laws of your country. You cannot have sex with your cousin because you are a American citizen.

 Typically, the closer you are related to someone, the more taboo the relationship it. That's why we tend to frown on first cousins dating, especially if they were raised so close together. Second cousins dating is a little less severe, and once you get into the "once, twice removed" aspect, it's pretty acceptable.
I however would not even think about entering this territory. Unless you know how your family would react, it's a subject I just would stay away from, especially since it sounds more like you just want to hook up with your cousin than start a meaningful relationship.
