yeah as other posters....jelly...cake...baloons.......Im sure he would appriciate it....
And whisper in his ear you have something "special" waiting at home when he feels better....if you know what I mean...
Wish your BF happy birthday from me and good luck with the Op

How sweet of you to want to arrange something for your boyfriend.
That will mean so much to him, I know it!
Anyways, i like Fionaxxx's idea about the gift and a card for him.
And you could bring a cupcake with a candle or something for him.
And just ask what he wants to do. Maybe watch a movie, or snuggle, depending on how he feels!
Best of luck!

Firstly good for you for being so nice and supportive!
Just bring in his cards and gifts, and let him open them in bed. Just having you there for some time will be a great bonus, and should cheer him up.
Mention to the nurses, there may be a cake the hospital can arrange.
Not sure what kind of op. but he may be well enough for a few food treats?
You can have the night out all being well at some other time. Do re-arrange it, so there is something to look forward to.
