But he'd be a better friend.. Like he's totally fun to be around, but sometimes he's goes kind of crazy and people think he's a freak. And I kind of tried to break up with him once and I said "I kind of.. Just wanna be... Friends..?" and he just fell over and almost started to cry and I felt so bad and it was horrible and ugh... So I don't think he would wanna be friends if I dump him... He's so serious and tells me he loves me and stuff. It's cute but I just want a casual relationship.  Be straight with him and tell him you are sorry but you are just not interested in being in a relationship at the moment. But if he doesn't want to be friends afterwards you need to respect that. He is going to be hurt and upset as he has deep feelings for you, so give him some space to get over you and keep away from him let his heart heal.
Also people may think he is a freak but that shouldn't be a problem to you, you know him and you like him even if it is as a friend so when people call him names like this you should stand up for him. That is just cruel calling anyone a freak. Anyway back to the topic you need to let him go. Good luck.
