My stomach makes growling sounds because I worry about it so much. What I eat has nothing to do with it. whenever I think about it thats when it happens but when I don't it doesnt do anything. The reason why I get nervous about it is because I don't want to bet embarrass. The classroom Is quiet and my stomach is making noises like I'm passing gas. The reason why it does it is because I stress, and worry about it when the classroom becomes quiet . This is my senior year I don't wanna worry about this.....this anyone have advice or methods I can tell myself to not worry about it and focus on myself? Reply to this Question Share |

try relaxation techniques and peppermint tea. so this only happens when you are thinking about it then? that makes it unlikely that there is a physical cause but why not get it checked by your doctor just to make sure. do you find that you eat quickly? if so slow down and this will avoid gulping too much air down with your food. make sure you drink an adequate amount of water everyday. avoid soda drinks. when you find yourself thinking about the quiet classroom and your stomach - stop yourself and focus on something else, this will help you to overcome this habit you seem to have formed where you are thinking about your stomach and getting stressed
