A female reader, laetitia Canada +, writes (20 June 2010):

laetitia agony auntWow, this man sounds like a complete jerk! If your mutual friends knew he was cheating on you with prostitutes, I am surprised that you weren't aware??? This man doesn't deserve you, he is a complete as**ole and you and your daughter deserve much better.

You need to go after him for child support.Cut all contact with him to only the occasions related to your daughter. Ignore him. Be cold to him.

Every time you miss him, tell yourself - he doesn't deserve me. Try to occupy your time with some activities and friends. Get a new hobby or sign up for a gym! Try to get your life in order. That may help you to move on.
