reader, anonymous, writes (5 December 2008): It may feel awkward for a while, but just get over it! Make jokes out of it to make you feel comfortable! Like say, "Gosh, I am scarred now for life! Thanks sis...I'll NEVER want to be with a woman again!" Just make wise cracks out of the situation that you both can laugh at and eventually just forget. It happens from time to time...there is nothing to really worry about. Just make fun with the situation and just don't avoid you're sister because then you will make her feel very awkward around you and that is not what you're going for here, ok! Good luck to you!!

The reason you are so embarassed and cannot look her in the eye is because you are worried in case you liked what you saw. Well, technically you saw a naked woman and it would be absolutely fine if you liked what you see, its not like you are going to pursue her, is it, me and you both know that! It happened to be your sister so you are landed with guilt and shame. Please be aware this is perfectly normal, happens all the time and this akward feeling will pass. All the best xx

 You could maybe just say, 'I'll try and make a lot of noise next time I come in the house, then you'll know to wrap up. Or just break the ice with some kind of joke. 'Good job I didnt bring my mates home that day', something along those lines. She may have got over it by now so you need to try acting as it's business as usual at home then the awkwardness won't affect the atmosphere in the house. hope this helps.

 Does she know you saw her? I would tell her what happened and say how embarrassed you felt by that and perhaps by confronting it, you will be able to be comfortable again.
