There is a possibility that he thought he came too fast or mistook something you said or did as not really into him and got embarrassed? That is the only thing I can think of. If a girl offered me oral on the 3rd date, I'd quickly set up a 4th date. :) But there are some guys who just have weird thing where they get a bj or sex and the conquest is over so they just disappear. Why don't you just ask him if there was a problem why he suddenly acted like that?

Could also be what the others said, that he thinks girls shouldn't do this.

 Some guys have a tweak where a girl has to be very 'pure' to be desirable. So when they have sex they quickly go off her. Given how immediate his reaction was this could be what happened. It's like they have to think of you as virginal to want to date you, so if you do anything to break that image (ie anything sexual) then they can't reconcile. The only way to end up in a relationship with someone like this is to date for ages before doing anything, and even then it comes with complications.
It's also possible he just wanted sex, but I'm not so sure this is what happened since a guy like that would probably try one more date and have full intercourse, and then stop returning calls!

Sounds to me like he is only interested in girls to fulfil his sexual desires, once thats done, he throws you away like you mean nothing. So sorry to say that but thats what it seems. Try calling him or contacting him somehow and see what he has to say for himself, so you can get some closure.
