A female Canada age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Hi Cupids.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to get over a crush on someone who is unavailable and I see every day? It is slowly driving me crazy!!! The feelings seem to keep growing to a point where they are affecting my life. I do not want to go through this anymore and I want to put a stop to it for my own well being. It has been really tough on me emotionally and I feel like I am losing control.

I know the crush is hopeless because we are both in relationships. What makes it worse is that he seems to feel the same way. I find that I daydream about him, fantasize about him and feel depressed or let down when I do not see him. I am always looking forward to seeing him, to the point where I neglect my own relationship with my significant other. I feel like the crush has gone beyond my comfort zone and I need to stop it before I really go off the edge. Any ideas? Advice? THANK YOU!!!
