writes: hiya im 16 and weigh between 9-9 n half stone. I used to weigh about 8 n half a year ago. Now my back has always seemed to arche in further than others and so my stomach sticks out but for about 6 months ive really been noticing it n its really getting to me. Have any of you got any suggestions on how to loose weight around the stomach area so its flatter because sometime i look pregnant but it is definately bigger than it used to be and i don't like it being this big. Preferable stuff like exercises i can do at home. Any way to get it off? Reply to this Question Share |

It sounds very likely that while your tummy is very noticeable to you, I bet nobody else has noticed it! However, I know how it feels to feel self conscious, and my friend has always had a hang up about her tummy. Make sure you drink 2 litres of water a day. Makes a big difference to slimming down your tum!

You can buy an exercise contraption that you put your feet in, and you pull up towards your body repeatedly, it only costs about £10. Sit and do situps while watching tv.
You might be eating foods that bloat you, I think carbohydrates do that (bread, pasta, rice etc).
Start eating a bit healthier, salads and rice cakes to snack on etc, you will find you'll lose weight around the tum.
