I miss him when he's gone, but don't like living with him--help?

help i'm troubled, everyone normally turns to me for help, i dont know why, as i cant help myself lol..anyway's i've been with my partner seriously on and off for nearly 4 yrs, and we cant seem to get it together..when i'm with him, he eventually bugs me just his negeativity and the drone in his voice..when im not with him for some time i miss him.I get lonely call him up and it's all ok for a while, it's been back on for a week after a 3mth break and already im doubting this relationship..sometimes he's my god then others my dog lol..

what do i do..i know it's me as he's happy to plod on.. am i sounding commitment phobic?? or just a hard to please female..i have everything else in my life that i need, i'm very fortunaate, apart from this part of my life.If i could solve the problem, then fine, i'm willing to walk waway but i always think what if !!what if he is the one? oh our lives are so nearly the same and also so far apart ?????what do i do ?

next time you get bored or lonely,dont phone him.let him find someone who`s got a better opinion of him and some respect.have you told him all this you have written on here?you sound like a teenager who doesnt know what they want.

sorry if i offended you, by the dog statement, it was tounge and cheek , i was meaning, he's like god one day then i just reversed the letters and got dog..coz next day he can be a nasty peice of work,ie a dirty dog..just had to clear that thanx for taking time to reply.x

when you can say that your partner goes from god to dog,which i find no matter how many arguments ive never though my guy a dog,i find it disrespectful an he deserves better
