If you are pretty, then its most likely boys your own age are too scared to talk to you. There's nothing harder than trying to talk to a cute girl when you are a teenager ( this from my own personal experience ).
But I like your attitude. I reckon the best way to get on with boys is to get to know a few at your school. Do you know what boys are interested in? ( apart from girls that is ). If you can find some common ground you will be bound to pick up some boy mates. Dont worry it wont be that hard, once you break the ice then they will come flocking as you will no longer be the cute girl who is hard to approach.
Boys like having girls as friends, you just need a throwaway comment aimed in the right direction to show that you are interested in some boy stuff , dont worry they will come round.
