 He may just be looking at you like a 'lil sister for the fact that he is 8 years your junior and you are his sisters friend. In saying that, nearly all my friends had a relationship with my bro' who took full advantage that they fancied him. These were only short term relationships tho'. He did actually marry my best friend in the end. So it can be quite common. If he is single and he likes you, you never know. Maybe having a quiet word in his sisters ear in confidence to find out if theres a chance with him, would help. That's the only way you will find out if there could be more for you.
