reader, anonymous, writes (17 July 2010): Gays may, or may not, take offence at terms like 'fag' 'homo' 'queer' etc, and may or may not be happy with being described as such. Depends on the person concerned, and whether it's being used in an playful/hostile/affectionate/insulting manner. As to this guy's sexuality, we've no info at all to go on, you're in a better position to guess than we are! Sexlessintheuk is spot-on: try to get to know him a little better and see where it goes.
