if the friendship is less significant to you than a girl you don't really know yet... then go for it.. .but be prepared to lose your best mate forever.
One thought: FRIENDS are much harder to come by than lovers and at your age it's probable that you and this young lady will not last forever.... is losing a friend worth it?
