writes: I don't know why am I not horny anymore.I used to be very sexual, but now I almost never feel, the need of sex.I love my wife, 26 years married.I can't say, I'm not attracted to her.I do have ED, but it is unclear why.I do work a lot, but i'm not sure it could be the cause, as I always did.Kind of embarassing,but I don't understand myself.But how can I try to make my wife feel better, she is getting really frustrated,and I can see why.What can I do to make her feel better,as she thinks its her fault?

reader, anonymous, writes (12 August 2009): Wow, can I relate... First, get to your Dr. and se if they can rule out anything. A script for an ED pill could work wonders. Work, combined with stress (the economy, bills, housing... normal stuff) can KILL a sex drive at our age... Talk to her, reassure her that it's not her. I've found that when my wife is playful and let's me know she WANTS sex that it happens easier. Some weeks she simply NOT into it (she's nearly 50)... but others she is...You're NOT alone here... sadly, many of us find ourselves in this position in mid-life. You need NOT live this way... there is help out there! Good luck!
