writes: i just would like to ask a general question and get some input of what other people think.when you are getting to know someone, how important do you think financial status is in deciding whether to seriously date that person? i live in a poor area, but i have a steady job,a house that i rent, take good care of myself and my children and am a smart young woman.but i dont make a lot of money.the thing is,most of the men in this area are drug users and drinking all the time, refuse to work and appereance wise are dirty and appaling.im looking to meet someone who is different from that, and most of the good guys ive noticed also have really good jobs.theres a guy im realllyyyy interested in that ive been chatting to,and our personalitys click very well.i want to meet him but am nervous becuz he has a much better job than i do,and wonder if he might feel like i dont measure up becuz of this.he knows what type of work i do already, but not how much i make.so...if you were in that position and you meet this girl and are attracted to each other physically and personality wise, how much would it matter that she doesnt make a lot of money?some opinions would be great:)
