Last week, the day after sex I noticed that the area around my clitoris had a strange sensation every time I went to the toilet, it wasn’t really burning, it’s hard to explain. That went away the next day. We had sex the day after that and I felt the sensation the next day too. We didn’t have sex the following day and I was fine. But…I slept with him last night and today I feel the same sensation. I don’t have any discharge, other pain, redness, itchiness or anything like that...everything looks normal down there. I’m going to make a doc’s appointment but I wonder what this could be? Am I just getting irritation? Btw I shave as well.

Are you using protection? if you aren't, than it could be anything from a mild skin irritation to a STI that could render you infertile. Don't have unprotected sex. (Just in case you were:) If you are having safe sex, it is could be a urinary tract infection, easy teated with antibiotics. They're very common in girls, especially when you start having sex. It's like a nervy, kind of burny, itchy kind of feeling. An uncomfortable feeling that happens when you pee. You need to make sure you pee after sex as soon as you can (sometimes that helps the feeling go away/not happen by flushing bacteria out before it has time to annoy you). As long as you're having protected sex, then what ever it is, you're doc will be able to sort you out, and I wouldn't stress too much about it.
