writes:Im a bit worried. I am on Marvelon contraceptive pill and i started my new packet on Saturday. Had unprotected sex on Saturday night (because im on the pill, and im seeing this guy), and forgot to take any more pills until this morning. They were at my friends house and i totally forgot! Is there a chance i could be pregnant? So...thats 5 pills missed altogether. Please help, im soooooooooo scared. Im starting to feel really sick randomly throughout the day and dont know wether this is just me bveing paranoid or what?! I know i should have been more responsible, but i dont want a lecture i just want some help PLEASE!!!!! Thank you xxxxxxx

I think you do have reason to be concerned, because the sperm can live for several days inside your body. Here's a real eye-opener:

I think your best bet is to have a talk with your gynecologist; you missed a lot of days, and that seems to be a real issue... sorry for not having a more positive response.

well generally you have to keep taking them regular in order to work and my guess is you didnt get the emergencie pill either so their is a possibility although you could be lucky..go see your gp when after your next period is due and they will do a test free for you..just relax and dont worry till the test is done but its fifty fifty.. good luck aphex xx ps when you say new pack you mean a continuance from the last one ?

But chances are that you probably don't have access to a doctor, because you are too young to go to the doctor without a parent(you posted this as anonymous, and the way you type says your age as well), and you probably don't have the money to buy a pregnancy test to find out either, and even if you did, mommy and daddy drive you everywhere so they would possibly ask you about what you bought.I'm not being condescending, I'm just stating what seems like it could be. Here's my advice: Ask a friend if you can borrow some money to buy one. Some are only a dollar at the dollar store. If that one shows up positive, get a better one. And when you get to the store, make sure you have big pants with big pockets so that after you buy the test, you can hide it, along with the receipt, so that your parents won't ask you about it. I don't know if you are or not, but it sounds like you are making yourself sick with thoughts of it. So this might not be morning sickness.
