I lead a very healthy lifestyle and find my sex drive to be extreme and I don't know how to handle it.My partner most certainly isn't interested often enough and at times finds my enthusiasm off putting. Taking care of myself so to speak I find very unsatisfying and it doesn't seem to even mark the edge of my desire. What should I do? I feel like I am going to go insane!

I don't think that my girlfriends between the 2 did either. I used a little porn and took care of the situation myself on those days where I could have had sex 4 times a day. Both wives were very happy with that, as I would still give them sex as often as they wanted it. For my current wife of 23 years, that was almost every day, except for the years when she was tired or stressed from work.
DHT is what drives your sex drive. It is dihydrotestosterone and your body makes it from testosterone. It is 3 times as powerful as testosterone. There are drugs that lower DHT by blocking the conversion from testosterone. The main ones are the drugs to treat BPH (enlarged prostate) and prostate cancer, since excess DHT is linked to these 2 conditions. They are the ones that you see advertised on TV and magazines for urinary problems, like Proscar and Avodart. They have the side effect of lowering sex drive and perhaps even sexual performance, but I'm not sure about the performance part. I don't know if they are ever prescribed to lower libido, but you could ask a doctor. Saw palmetto, which many men take for BPH, works the same in a lesser way. I use it, but it has done nothing to lower my sex drive.

If you really are going nuts over the problem then why don't you talk to your doctor, not sure, but there probably is some medication he/she can prescribe to lower your libido just a tad.
