A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My ex and I were together for 5 years and split up for 3. We were best friends going into the relationship. Now it's definitely not the same. I've moved on and so has he. Which we both are totally comfortable with. He always says he wants to hang out and when I try he never does. There are some times where he doesn't even respond to my calls. He'll text me still saying things just joking around like.. when are you gonna stop holding out. Silly stuff like that. I truly, truly love this man as a person. But why does he act like that? I feel like sometimes I am more of a annoyance than a friend. I feel that most of the time if I don't initiate the conversation we wouldn't talk. Should I just give up? Thanks everyone :)

Well I don't want to sound mean but you all have both moved on...you shouldn't really worry so much that he is not responding to all of your calls..or just sending you silly text...just don't call him anymore and see if he initiates any conversation between you two.
