Maybe it's just me but I seem to have confused myself with your post . So please tell me if what I've grasped is wrong. Your around mid 30 and you have a two year old Daughter ? Your bf has left you and is engaged to someone else but keeps texting or in touch daily with you.

Is that right?

If he has moved on and is engaged to someone else, you really need to let him go if he is not your child's biological father then cut him lose. You are not an adolescent but a grown women with her a two year old . Focus on her and enriching both your life's and then when the time is right you will met Mr right . Everyone is diffident and not every relationship lands on your plate .

Take your time .. and take care
