What does this dream mean?

It starts out Dylan(the guy I used to crush on who's a year older than me) was in my house and I was in the backyard walking to school. I see him and decide sinse my parents aren't home I will just skip school and hang out with him though I'm afraid I'm going to get caught.

We are on the laptop on the couch and things happen then I end up laying with my head in his lap. Then we are running in this field, me, Dylan and my friend from 8 years ago (who I hadn't talked to sinse second grade because I moved but now we are in Spanish together in real life).

We are racing and we can jump real high I remember really wanting to get to wherever we were going fast I jumped over this ditch thing and fell. Dylan came to help me up and we went walking down the street holding hands and went back to my house and he was about to kiss me but I woke up. I stopped liking Dylan like 2 months ago but had this dream last night.

What's it mean?

Fatherly Advice agony auntYour dream is full of symbols relating to freedom. Either you are looking for freedom, or enjoying an unusual level of it.

the ex boyfriend is probably just your acceptance that some aspects of your former relationship were good and acceptable, and you may be seeing some of those in your current situation. It cam be sort of a warning to your self.

Combining those two is interesting. I would say you are considering formalizing a new relationship, but you are afraid to give up the freedom you feel now. It looks like you really value the freedom more.

I think a website that caters to what you're asking will probably give you a better answer.

Just because you had a dream about him, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. We all have dreams about people, past and present. I've had sexual dreams about people that I've never had a crush on or even thought was attractive. Did that mean I had a secret crush on them? NO! Nobody really knows what dreams really mean. The best answer I've read somewhere is that they are just a bunch of thoughts that you've had and your brain turns them into a story to make sense of them.

So maybe Dylan crossed your mind for a moment, or you saw him, or saw something that reminded you of him, and it later turned into a dream. It really doesn't necessarily mean anything at all.
