A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Well theres this guy who has been trying to chat me up for a while, but Im realy not interessted as I hate his personality, and I like this other guy whos away atm but will be back in a few weeks. Anyway I met him with a couple of friends to go to the cinema and he kept putting his arm on me and stuff, so I just pulled him off but he still kept doing it.

When we went into the cinema, my friends, thinking it was hilarious left me with him (what I had asked, even considered paying them not to do, lol). So he kept feeling my leg so I moved over a bit. He sort of rested his hand on it so I just ignored him as I wasnt gonna make a scene in the film. So yeah he kept trying to feel in certain places, so I just held his hands in one place, as I realy wasnt likeing what he wanted to do, seeing as I dont even like him, and Im realy not like that. I did tell him to get lost (slightly harsher...) which worked for a bit.

So after the film I just ignored him and left early because I felt (feel) angery and upset and so used, as he does this to other girls too. I mean im more angery actualy ;)

I recon he may be trying to get back at his ex so thats a problem to, cos were friends! I am slightly worried that I have acidently played hard to get, and apparently boys like that. Although he was a bit annoyed at me after and making stupid remarks about secret agents (I said I was a secret agent and couldnt give him my mobile number, cos I realy dont want him contacting me).

Ok I also think that people will think bad of me because I didnt stand up to him and I sort of let him do it, which was stupid but it is wayy harder than I would have thought. Especialy the guy I like, cos he likes me too, and I dont want him to think I am a slut. Please Help!

Hi love,

Just keep well away from him, dont let yourself be put in a position where your friends think this is funny make sure they know how this makes you feel, And make them understand you dont want to be left alone with him or anywere near him. You are right when you say some men like it when a girl plays hard to get but hunny make it clear you dont want to be got at all...

Dont feel to blame we have all been put in awkward positions at some point in life just be strong as to what you want and dont want, and really get this point across to your mates... YOU TAKE CARE LOVE MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
