 well i'm only 14 and i decided that i was bisexual at around the same age as you so i think that you should first wait and see if the feeling passes but if you still feel that way about this boy then just get to know him before you tell him how you feel, that way he should be more supportive with it and there is a chance you can stay friends.good luck lboy

reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2006): first of all, even if you find that you are gay, there's nothing wrong with it. that's important to keep in mind while you're figuring yourself out. i also think that in our culture, it's hard for younger kids your age to figure out if they truly are gay because we're pretty much taught from the day we're born, that we like the opposite sex. it's pretty much instilled into us. but just be real with yourself. evaluate how you feel about this boy your touching. and might i add...touching him might not be the most appropriate way to discover your feelings. do you get excited in his presence? are you attracted to any other boys? what about girls? i think you're the only one who can answer whether or not you're joking when you touch him. but most importantly, just be true to yourself.
