However, I consider A as a very close friend, possibly even a best friend. After hearing he likes me, I don't know how to react to this. I never realized that because we treat each other like siblings. We would call each other names and fight, but it's all fun and games.Yesterday, he told me to meet him at a coffee venue and he'd pay me for my drink, but after hearing about him liking me, I don't know what I should do. The thing is, I cannot imagine us dating. Since we treat each other rudely, yet in a jokingly way, I don't see how our relationship would go beyond the relationship we have now.Honestly, I have no clue what to do. I really don't want our relationship to turn suddenly awkward, because I enjoy what we have now and I don't know how to avoid the awkwardness. I really wished I hadn't found out about this because I'm super afraid with me knowing this, things will get awkward.

Go met him for coffee (but buy your own) and if/when he tells you he likes you LIKE YOU, be honest and tell him that you see him as a friend no more. You can't see you two dating. Be honest.
And yes, thing will be a bit awkward for a while, that is how it is when one person start having romantic feeling for someone who don't feel the same way.
YOU are in NO way obligated to "like" him back.
And it's NOT your "fault" he he might like you as more then a friend. But you might HAVE to cut out the fun and banter with him.
