writes:Its been 4 months since me and my ex broke up, i broke up with her but i realized i made the worst mistake of my life but as soon as i went to get her back i found out she started a new relationship.I think about her day and night, and i dont think i can continue living, she was my soulmate and i dont want to move on, she was the only one i will ever love. Ive gone through a few break ups and none have felt as bad as this, i will never get through it.I cry most of the day, even at work because i miss everything about her and i cant get her back!i am scared i am going to do something stupid, please help me

reader, anonymous, writes (29 April 2008): What were the reasons you broke up with her? They may be good reasons and may have saved you from heartache. Sometimes, that little voice in the back of our heads sees something that we don't. With four months gone, it is unlikely you'll get back together, but you never know. I had one girlfriend I broke up with, and 4 years later, I met up with her again. The 4 years gave me time to mature, think things over about what I wanted in life, who I wanted, what type of girl that would be, and learned to ask questions and express myself better.
You must always have hope that things will improve, and you must have faith that the changes you need will happen and your ideal mate will show up. It takes time.

If it was you who split up and she has met someone else then you will have to live with that and get over it. Just take each day at a time and you will meet someone else. But dont expect her to leave her bloke and coming running back to you, that isnt fair. Get over it and move on. You cannot mess or play with peoples lives.
