Hiya,
I was in a similar situation last year. After liking a guy for months, and him returning my flirtation, i plucked up the courage to tell him that i liked him. He said he liked me too. But the next day, he asked my worst enemy out. Which is basically the same as rejecting me.
To be honest there is not much that you can do. Don't go begging for him to change his mind - because this will just result in you feeling embaressed, no matter what the outcome.
And don't show him that it has got to you too much. Just hold your head up high, and walk into school tomorrow proud.
Believe me, there are PLENTY more fish in the sea. you are too young to be getting hung up over boys!
Enjoy life before you get caught up with boys.

If you absolutely must be persistent, bearing in mind that this may push him further away, find out why he said no. (Boys have no problem with being candid once they've been outright.)
Evidently, he sees something he finds distasteful or unsuitable about you.
If you're lucky, it'll be something you can change.
If you're very lucky it will be something you are willing to change.
