I know he has been through a lot in life, a bad realtionship, failed marriage but I am willing to accept everything because I love him. At times he behaves really sweet and loving but at times he is hurtful and puts me down and literally destroys me. I love him so much that every time I think I should end this I cant do it. I need to get out of this because if he cant commit then its no use but I dont know how to do it...please help me because I do not know how much more of this I can take....

Having said that, though, you say at times he treats you badly. You need to have a heart to heart talk about your feelings and his! This may be difficult considering he can't even admit he loves you. It is up to you to get through to him, and convince him that You ARE NOT the women from his past! You don't want to be judged (or punished) for their actions!
Good Luck
