writes:my boyfriend and i have had sex three times now. we have used a lubricated (trojan) condom each time. no birth control. the last time we had sex we checked the condom as usual and it had no holes. we had sex, and he says that he went for a little longer than he should have but he stopped.the condom didn't break, but as he took it out of me and touched the condom we noticed residue (cum?) on the blanket underneath. my period is fairily normal but sometimes random. i usually get it around the first of each month but the period before we had sex i got on the tenth.now i haven't gotten my period yet, and my boobs are a little sore and the nipple has occassional white bumps are are sometimes erect. i get occassional back aches but they don't last long, and i am not having any food cravings, headaches, or other pregnancy signs i've read about.i am freaking out however, because i haven't gotten my period yet! is it delayed because i am so stressed about being pregnant? help!

reader, anonymous, writes (15 December 2008): you're probably just worried and missing your period because of the stress.... If you only had sex 3 times, and used a condom all 3 times and the condom didn't break then you'll be fine!

reader, anonymous, writes (14 December 2008): Don't stress about it, I did that once to saw some residue, got freaked out and started experiencing similar symptons as you, I really thought I was pregnant when I didn't start my period on time, I took a pregnancy test and it was negative and that calmed me down and guess what, I started my period the next day!So I would recommend you take a pregnancy test and put your mind to rest. x

I know that sounds harsh, but I dont mean it in a bad way, just as in, its not a big deal, you can get a pregnancy test at any supermarket, drug store etc... for about $10 and then use it in a public toilet and throw it away there if you dont want to take it home with you! :)
Take a pregnancy test, if its negative (which by the sounds of it, it will be) then you can chill out, stop worrying and that will help your period come!
If its positive, thats a whole other can of worms, and dont stress about that yet. Either way, it will stop you wondering, and the stress of worrying will delay your period furthur!
