Ok, I'm 16 years old. I have been dating this guy for almost 4 months now. And we are truely in love. But recently, his bestfriend came into the picture. The bestfriend, David, is the one who somewhat set me and my boyfriend up. Well, David and I have been friends for awhile and I used to have a crush on him. But i have gotten over him. Now getting to the point, I think I might be falling for David. The past couple days this whole thing is bringing me down and David noticed i havent been myself. He asked me what was wrong and I kept shrugging him off saying I was fine. So he knew i was lying. We got kinda mad at eachother and it ended up he said "i can never be mad at you. you have that look..." he trailed off. I told him i couldn't be mad at him either. So after class we were walking together and he told me i awesome i quote "you're just awesome". So in our final class together we were supposed to play a game. We challenged eacthother. So i asked him to come over and sit next to me. He did this cute no because our teacher would get mad. Well he asked me to come over to him, but then said nevermind because my boyfriend was watching us. So he did this cute "you're going down" action. So he came by where i was sitting and leaned against the counter. I caught him staring at me and when i looked at him he did a small flirty eye brow raise. So after school me and my boyfriend were together, and David walks by. He briefly smiled at my boyfriend and when he looked at me, he looked at my boyfriend then at me, then frowned at looked crushed. David is normally laughing and smiling. So today, i almost told him that i thought i liked him. He kept asking what was wrong and guessing if it had to do with him. I kept saying no, then croaked and said yes. I told him that if i told him it would ruin alot of things. he was crushed. In our final class he came up to me and was going to say something. My boyfriend came up and David walked away and smiled at me. Does he like me? HELP!!

I think I am going to focus my heart on my boyfriend. It might be challenging because me and David are always around each other but i thin i can stay strong. I just feel like something could be wrong about this. or am i just over thinking it? but you all agree he is interested?

Laura1318 agony auntInitially when he set you up , he was not interested in you but I think he does now. But because of his best friend, he has to walk a fine path.

Moo's Mum agony auntWhat confuses me here is why would David set you up with his best friend if he does in fact like you?

I would be very careful here. This has the potential to be a very explosive situation. If you love your boyfriend you need to focus all your energy on him and just be friends with David. Otherwise you need to distance yourself from both of them and clear your head.
