My dad married his mom.anyways it was him and two other siblings. We have always refered to each other as brothers and sisters. Well I went to visit my dad a couple months ago and he has grown up a bit since the last time i saw him. it was fairly obvious to each of us that there was an attraction there. there were certain comments made and we had gotten drunk a couple nights.. and one night we were holding hands.. first of all he is way younger than me and second this is someone that i've known almost his whole life. it is very awkward for both of us. is this something that should be just ignored or discussed now or maybe something that can be pursued when he is 18. ???

I think that if you two really like eachother go for it, but when it's legal. Its not a big deal that your step brother and step sister. Although that can make things a uncomfortable at family events. I'd say if you two like eachother 2 years from now go for it. Right now 8 years is a big difference and illegal. Be careful.

Some people think it's wrong for stepsiblings to get involved, but that is extremely judgmental for anyone who is not in that situation to say that. Just check the laws in your state, because some laws may forbid stepsiblings from marrying. I say go for it and do what you want, and don't worry about what others think. They do not know what it's like to be you or to feel what you feel. Good luck and let us know if these replies have been helpful, or if you have other questions.
