You cannot expect to overcome this on your own. You will have to seek professional help. Nobody will know unless you tell them. There is no shame involved here. Seek the help.

I think that if you are not willing to seek professional help because you don't want anyone to know does not really leave you a lot of options.
You say thinking of marriages, or even attending them gives you a headache and stress. These are just 2 examples that you used, so do all social settings that involve large gatherings cause you this stress.
If your not willing to seek help, then all you can do is work on yourself, watch some motivational videos, take a walk in nature, read an uplifting book, tell yourself positive affirmations, appreciation and gratitude go a long way in making you feel better. Join a small class, or walking group to get you used to being around people, who knows, you might even make some friends while your there.
