writes: Ok well, recently, I split up with my girlfriend of about three years. This has happened before in the past with us, but this time It's most likely for good, which is alright. However, I work with another girl who I really like and have sort of been talking to at work sometimes. She's really nice and I want to get to know her and take her out sometime, but I am god awful when it comes to hitting on a girl. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression, which makes it really difficult to talk to new people, especially ones that I am interested in. I'm just not sure how I should deal with the situation because aside from that, we are six years apart (She is 24) and on opposite ends of the spectrum financially, and most of the time I talk to her I am really nervous and dismissive in conversation. Please help!
