writes:hey how is everyone i need some more help if you dont mind every time my girlfriend and i talk on the phone she has nothing to say, I'm always talking most of the time its quite and i say i love you to her to brake the silence and because i mean it with all my hart and more and its like she says it just for the hell of saying it there is no emotion to her voice at all, how do i start a conversation or at least keep one going. i say ill talk to her later sometimes on the phone so i can hang up then she asks "why?" so i say "because you have nothing to say and i always do the talking" is this a sign that she doesn't love me or find me interesting i don't know what to do please give me some advice

reader, anonymous, writes (21 September 2009): Is she a little bit on the shy side? I am and I was in a similar situation with my last boyfriend. Him getting annoyed and ending the phone call because I didn't have much to say just made me feel really nervous to talk to him on the phone and I felt like he was judging me for not being a more talkative person. How about asking her some questions on the phone to help her out and give her something to start talking about :)
