I finally realize after 2 years my boyfriend won't have sex with me because of his insecurities of pregnancy so I need advice of how to deal with this breakup! He was everything that I wanted but won't make me happy since he is insecure and unhappy. I did everything to comfort him but he couldn't change. So now I am single and feeling depressed. How do I stay strong and put my happiness first?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (11 December 2008):

Surround yourself with positive people. Friends, family, anyone who you can go out with and have a good time. Keep yourself busy and try to avoid conversations with or about him. Get rid of everything that reminds you of him and find new things to fill the time that you would normally spend with him.
