reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2010): Best thing to do if in doubt is ask the girl about herself...this really helps when your in a new conversation and dont know what to say or do, ask them what they have been up to? did they enjoy it etc and hopefully the conversation will progress from this nicely, it shows your interested in them plus they have to do most of the thinking/talking in the reply!! good luck and just relax.
