He used to talk to me but now he has gotten more nervous around me and if he does, he doesn't look at me. Sometimes I catch him looking at me when he thinks I'm not paying attention. The other two guys at my table keep making fun of the fact that he likes me and he says he doesn't when they keep bringing it up. It's really awkward. I've told them to stop because I don't like him and I don't want him to get the wrong idea but it doesn't work. Also I've been planning on asking out my admirer's best friend but I don't want to hurt is feelings. How do I let the guy who likes me know that I don't feel the same way without hurting his feelings?

You may just embarrass him by talking to him only to reject him when he has not said anything about it or asked you to do anything.
