Have met someone recently and though it's very early days - we're still feeling the water and getting to know each other. Usually we text maybe once or twice a day to say hello but is it normal for a guy not to text at all sometimes???? This guy has a very demanding job but also has 2 very unwell parents at the moment. Just trying to understand the workings of a mans mind......Many thanks

Yeah, don't worry about it too much. I think like women, guys don't want to come off as too clingy either. He definitely seems interested, so don't over-think it.

Don't be too hard on yourself. We ALL feel like that sometimes.

I didn't hear from him today at all and I just didn't want to bug him as I know he has been so busy and his parents are so unwell. I got the sweetest text from him yesterday and then to hear nothing today - well, my mind races!!!
I think I just need to make a nice cup of tea to calm me down.....okay - maybe a glass of wine.....
Thank you for your response.

Sorry - I also meant to add that the circumstances of work and his parents making it difficult to not always be in contact everyday, is also normal and to be expected.

This sounds normal. Every man has his own style and they set their own precedent.
I think two (on average) texts a day is a pretty good sign this man is interested in you, considering that it is early stages and he has a busy job and two unwell parents.
Enjoy and good luck!
