It was a long distance relationship and I don't think I was mature enough at the time to deal with that. (When we first started dating I was 16, he was 18). I had serious trust issues due to an abusive relationship when I was 14 (Yes, these do happen). I've since been to consuelling sessions and worked through a lot, if not all, of my issues. My ex and I still talk on the net a lot and I have a feeling he still has feelings for me. We were together for 3 months but had been in love with each other for a year previous. What I'm asking is do you think that it's possible that he still has feelings for me and would take me back even after a year? Or have I waited too long? Any advice would be appreciated.

I dont think there are any rules here.
My dad split up with his girlfried of a decade coz she cheated, ... spent another decade with another woman, ... split up with her, ... and a while after ended up back with the first woman. They were together for another decade until my father death and declared each other as being 'the love of their lives'.
I guess if it is meant to be, ...then it just will be and time won't be a factor!
