I have been with my BF for four years and his ex (baby mama) is trying to get back at him for being with me, so she keeps trying to up his child support payments. He already pays for two children and bring home less than 40% a month of his income and she just had it raised. We want to get married, but are affraid she will try to raise the payment again if they figure in my income. She went to law school so she knows the law. She is not hurting. She makes 3 times his income, has a 200,000 dollar house and a 50,000 dollar car. He doesnt have a car or house. Is there any way around this?

You need a better lawyer than her on your side. That's the only way you'll win that fight. It's not a GOOD way, but it's the only way you've got a chance. There's a saying in Texas about never taking a knife to a gunfight, isn't there? Well, you're not only taking a knife, you're going unarmed.
Know your rights. Get a good lawyer who specializes in this area of the law. Yes it will cost you some bucks, but it's better than being bled to death.
