reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2007): try using eggs with yoghurt...they are very good for giving thickness. Yolks for very dry hair and the white bit for oily hair. You could use the whole one for medium hair.

The first thing I would do is go to your physician and have your thyroid functioning checked, particularly if your hand is thinning on the crown of your head. Other symptoms of poor thyroid function are weight gain, very dry skin, excessive tiredness, and sometimes a raspy voice.
