It could be that the man is playing hard to get and maybe even occupied.then the girl likes him really much and then trying him to take notice of her..You said the man already giving attention, maybe that that attention is not obvious enough..and could be that the man wants just to be friend but the girl wants more than that but knows there's no chance???
