While we were there..a certain guy who works there asked for my numbers and i told him that my phone just got destroyed so i had no cellphone at that moment (i lied). Well sure he didnt believe me but i was getting kind of annoyed because the guy is at his mid 20s and im only 16. My friend gave me a look and she was like 'dont you know that guys get hurt? Just imagine yourself dating him..' she laughed 'dont you think it would be nice for you to have someone to talk about at school?'she said. That really hurt me i think she meant that im single because im less attractive now im getting attention from an older guy. Its not like there are no guys my age who give me that kind of attention, is just that i dont like them they way they do. .its just one problem with me. My best friend just started dating this year and i think she now wants everyone to date just because she does. What can i do about this, how do i tell my friend that i dnt like the way she behaved yesterday? Just because everyone (well almost) is dating doesnt necessarily mean i have to date too and an older guy for that matter. Im patient enough, not in a hurry to find the guy that loves me and that i love. Help

Next time give out HER number.
Be honest with your friend, tell her, I'm 16 and have NO inclination of dating any time soon and I'm quite OK with that choice, so PLEASE stop trying to set me up, It's embarrassing and annoying.

You could tell her at this point in your life you don't feel like dating, you have all the time in the world to find someone that you'll love or whatnot. An then bring up the situation with her behavior at the restaurant, she will understand
