He said that he couldn't make an arranged date due to assignments and he works hard with his studies. I haven't told any of my flat mates about this either. There's a part of me that really wants to tell him that I like him, but due to my lack of confidence I feel shy and nervous about saying something and fear of rejection as well as lacking inspiration to tell him. Also, we haven't really spoken since the summer.Any suggestions on what to do would be great :)

Every single person has a fear of rejection, but honey that is part of life, and we need to take risks in life to get what we want sometimes. You say you hardly see him as it is now, so would anything come from you telling him that you like him? Could you see anything actually working at the moment because he has so many commitments and not a lot of free time. Maybe while chatting to him next time you can just lightly drop in that you had a crush on him when you lived together and take the conversation from there.
