writes:I have got a new bf and hes a really good guy, we have been together for a few months now. We have been getting on so well up till now. We have been arguing over stupid things, like music, films, even games, if I don't like somthing that he does he goes off on one, then the other weekend I said I didn't like a band like he did, and he threatend to dump me, ok I knew he only meant it as a joke but it still hurt me as he's done this about 3 times now, so to hide that he hurt, I turned and said, ok then see if I care, I regretted it as soon as I said it but he had hurt me so much that I didn't care at the time. Then later on he called to say that he was hurt when I had said what I had said, so I explained all to him and he couldn't stop apolgising and I accepted and we sorted it but now my feelings are going down hill as he isn't the person I thought he was when we was friends. How do I tell him that I don't feel the same way any more. Please please help!!! xxx Reply to this Question

If it's all gone tits up then just end it.
Next time you have an argument then wait for you both to calm down and just tell him that this keeps happening and you are not happy.
Tell him that it's made your feelings fade and that you are very sorry but you can't be with him any more.
It's horrible but if things aren't working out then you have to end it.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2009): Dont worry your bound to have petty arguments. Trust me EVERY1 does! Its whats makes a relationship stronger. You may feel now that your love for hims sinking but ones this passes you'll see the guy you love.
Or if your absolutly set on breaking up then well.... I think you alread no what to say. Just give the resons you put here and that should be enough. If he loves you then he'l stop at nothing to keep you, but if he really loves you he'l stop at nothing to make you happy..... even if it means letting you go.
Tell him that.
