I was once involved in NHS, and I often won some awards for academic achievement, as well as other various events.He then tells me that I'm the most beautiful thing he's ever seen, and wonders why a guy like him would be with a girl like me. We're both shy, and our physical attributes are similar, but we're different in terms of academic performance. He's not stupid, he's actually almost above average. I love him too much to leave him crying like that; What can I do to let him know how much I love him for who he is: the sweet, shy guy? I don't care about how well he did in high school, I'd rather choose him over a Ph.D who can only talk about his research. And I doubt he'd be trying to break off the relationship after he's actually been pursuing me for nearly five years before we got together.What's the best way to tell him how much I love him? How much I'd be willing to do for him? It hurts to see him like this because of me...

Seria Medrano is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI sat down to talk to him about it 3 nights ago. He told me there's no one else out there he'd rather devote himself to but me. He is just baffled as to why I would want to be with him?
"You're the most exquisite thing I've ever seen; hell, even words can't describe it. Seria, I'm sorry for thinking this way, but I'm just so happy that you're here, breathing, and mine."
At that moment, I was just trembling when he pulled me in for one of the softest, breath-taking kiss I've ever had! I told him that I don't care about how well he did in high school, I'm just an ordinary girl inside; a girl who wants happiness just as much as the next person. And he's my happiness; I love him, he's my best friend.
We cuddled for hours and hours, whispering to the other's ear. Not once did I let him take his hands off me. Right then, I could just fall asleep, knowing I was protected, kept so warm by him. Really...I told him I was feeling insignficant as well, because we're both different in terms of fields. Often times during college, I'd help him with the biology, physics, and chemistry homework, and he helps me with the philosophy, psychology, and english homework. He's got quite the philosophical/artistic mind.
By the time we realized how late it was (about 3 a.m.), he told me I should get going, much to my dismay. It was hard having to leave him, but I'm positive our talks and moments have convinced him that I love him and only him. *blush* we kissed probably about 10 more times as we walked out to my car. It was heart-wrenching to leave, enough that I came back shortly after I drove off just to give him a soft, deep kiss. He's in Denver, Colorado right now for Spring Break, and I miss him.
I'm sorry this was so long. I just felt like sharing every vivid detail of what happened. It was pure bliss!

reader, anonymous, writes (14 March 2009): The best way to tell him is by saying that you don't care if your smarter than him,tell him you love him eather way.make him feel smart when your around him so that he doesn't feel that he doesn't deserve u and compiment him whenever he got a good test score and most importantly let him know that u love him and tell him that.
