How do I stop myself thinking paranoid thoughts when my guy is genuinely busy?

Question - (15 June 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 15 June 2010)
A female South Africa age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi. I have been in this relationship for 2 and a half years now. In march this year we had a huge fight I went all quiet and started doing other things which never involved him. He would text me and phone but I kinda shut off not wanting to talk to him, then we had a nice chat and he took me out for supper bought me flowers and made me feel special again. The problem comes in when, well I knew it would happen, he got a huge contract, he has his own business, it was either the contract or a permanent move to nz. Its just that his been so busy and preparing although it feels as if I'm none existent to him, I'll phone but no answer text no reply. I know I'm being very paranoid and should just sit it out and wait. What can I do to tell him I'm here and want can I do to not have my mind wonder and think of the craziest things... Thanks

get a hobby? sounds really stupid but it worked for me.. keep your self busy and dont just sit around waiting because when you're busy you'll be thinking of other things which is better than the paranoid thoughts
