How do I sort my feelings for the ex or another guy?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my boyfriend because I wanted to see other people... But he is still in love with me. He asked me out again, and I'm not sure if I love my ex- anymore! There's also another boy who really likes me, but I don't like him. If I go out with my ex- again I feel like this new guy would be really upset. I'm not sure if I should go out with my ex- again, he really did make me feel good when we dated, but I don't want the stress of a boyfriend right now. I can't sort out my feelings!

A female reader, jordanlee United Kingdom +, writes (23 September 2007):

i think you should let this other guy know how yoo feel and that you would feel better as friends let him down as gently as possibal

but if you really like your ex and he likes you why not just see eachother for abit instead of getting together and see if you do want to have a boyfriend

you could miss a real big chance with him if you like him but just let him know how you feel and let him know your not ready to have a boyfriend right now he will probly understand but if you like this ex of your i dont see why not have another go at it and if it doesnt work out its not the end of the world hun good luck x
