I've also found out that I may need to take some kind of math's and english assessment which I really hate to do partly because I haven't taken a test in so long I'm afraid that I've forgotten everything that I learned in school. And I need to go on some sort of interview to basically try to show the person who might employ me that I'm the right person for the job. It's kind of like I have to try and sell myself and talk myself up to them even though I have no idea if I am cut out for the type of training that lies ahead. Can anyone offer me any advice about this. I would be greatful.

They are going to understand you are nervous.
But what you need to do is believe in yourself a bit.
Find out about what the training will be and think to yourself: why am I going to be good at this?
Once you can convince yourself then you will be able to convince other people.
As for the english and maths stuff, go and buy yourself a cheap GCSE revision guide and have a quick read through. It will probably be easier than that anyway.
Good Luck!! xx
