 Hello :)Well you two seem to like eachother alot as by what you say you spend a lot of time with eachother :)but then you say you have little doubts every now and then. Perhaps if your not too sure, have a good think about what you like about him, and what you don't like about him. Think how it would be if you two were in an intimate reltionship. If you feel good about it then go for it. It doesn't seem like you have anything to lose ;) Tell him you want to try and have a reltionship with him, and make sure it's just you and him alone.

 Do nothing with this guy unless you are ready and able to find a new housemate in case anything goes wrong between you. You need to think this one through very carefully before you act.
Once you have a backup plan in place, then you can ask him if he ever thought about taking things to the next step to see what he thinks about you.
